All of the general festival area open to the public, that is not represented in any of the categories below. All stages (Apollo, Hathor, Bragi and demo), the beer tent, sickbay, food stands and porter potties are included here.
The festival field itself is a sprawling grassy field capable of accommodating over 60,000 people; its main features are the three stages (with Apollo being the largest, and featuring the most popular bands, and Bragi being the smallest where lesser known artists perform) and the demo tent, for mostly unknown and first-timers to make their debut.
Bordering the fields on either side are rows of food stands offering fast food, drinks and beer (no strong alcohol permitted) and clusters of porter potties are located further to the back.
There is also a sickbay standing by to receive any ill or injured festival-goers.
