During the course of the roleplay, many NPCs (Non Playable Characters) have been used to add depth and realism to the story, or to further a plot. Some of them have been minor and inconsequential, but others have come to play important roles in various stories or characters' pasts, becoming integrated in the game itself.
Wouldn't it be helpful if we knew more about them? Who they are, perhaps what they look like, so that when they're mentioned in someone's post, we may see the same thing their original creator envisioned?
This thread aims to do just that; provide a reference list of important NPCs and flesh them out a bit, so that everyone can have a better idea of who they are, and what their connections to the various playable characters have been throughout the course of the game.
This is completely voluntary, by the way.
The format is the following:
Name: (the name of the NPC)
Picture: Not obligatory, but helpful.
Type: Private (only their creator may use them) or Public (all members may use them in their own plots).
Character connection(s): Which character(s) they are connected to.
Description/History: A short bio/description detailing who they are.

Description/History: (written by lana/Aaron)If you ask the small crowd surrounding the charismatic leader of Tears of Andromeda to describe him, the words cool, self-assured, sarcastic, naturally gifted and hot would probably be the ones you would hear most often. But arrogant, lazy, and overly self-absorbed would also be tossed in by the people who know him the best. He has developed an obsession with his hair and can spend an insane number of hours on it, which led the guys of the band to prank him, dying his hair pink by putting it in his conditioner. The only son of a overindulgent and over-evaluating couple, whose father, a guitarist who shared a brief moment of glory with a band a long time ago, raised his only child to follow his path. But even if he wasn't without talent, his laziness, which makes him think rehearsing is most of the time optional, prevented him to go from being a good guitarist to a great guitarist. But he discovered he had another asset (one that he didn't even had to work on as much, imagine that!); his scratchy voice, which became his trademark and propelled him forward as the singer and undisputed leader of Tears of Andromeda.

Oh yeah, it's Stephen's friend. This is what Will had been hearing since kindergarten. But growing up in the shadow of his best friend never seemed to bother him due to his endearing and unpretentious nature. As messy as Stephen is neat, he is also a peace-maker and an overly enthusiastic person, whose favorite words "fucking awesome" can contrast quite a bit with the dark and edgy inspiration their music draws on. Growing up, he shared most of the same interest as Stephen or rather Stephen's interests became his own. So when Stephen learned to play guitar? Will did too. But it turned out that he surpassed Stephen pretty quickly, which earned him the lead guitarist spot of the group that they formed together: Tears of Andromeda. He's single and has a 5 y/o daughter, Shina, the result of a college "accident". Although the child is raised by her mother, she's the most important person to Will and has become his favorite subject, right after music. He's managed as best he can to be there for the little girl and help her mother. And no matter how light-hearted he is, the long time he has to spend away from his family is starting to make itself felt and he's impatiently waiting for their imminent arrival to the festival.

Name: Deborah "Debbie" Carlisle Picture:  Type: Private Character connection(s): Lavinia Sinclair (friend and stylist) Description/History:Lavinia's closest female friend and stylist (for her photoshoots, not DEM's shows), Debbie is the one who originally encouraged her to explore interests other than music by using her as a model for her own photography, and a human canvas to practice her skills. With a friendship that hails back to their college days, Debbie often makes time to attend and support Lavinia and the rest of the band during their performances, even though her tastes in music are quite different - she is an extroverted and energetic young woman who can enjoy a lively atmosphere almost in any situation.
Name: Penelope "Penny" Lee Picture:  Type: Private Character connection(s): Emily Moore (ex-girlfriend) Description/History:A quite popular member of Emily Moore's highschool class, Penny struck up an unlikely friendship with the latter, which gradually evolved into what became Emily's first romantic relationship with a girl. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a farce, a secret dare between Penny and a group of students aiming to have fun at Emily's expense, who eventually uncovered the truth and severed all ties to her. Although bitter at the memories, Emily considers Penny her first love.
